Answers to the questions we are most often asked at Tajimaya PREMIUM Kyoto Station Hachijo-guchi — opening hours, access, reservations, all-you-can-eat courses and payment methods.
How do I get there from Kyoto Station?
It is a 1-minute walk from the Hachijo-guchi (south) exit of Kyoto Station, 182m from the station. The address is J’s Building 3F, 48 Higashi-Kujo Muromachi, Minami-ku, Kyoto 601-8001.
What are your opening hours and closing days?
Monday to Friday 11:30–15:00 and 17:00–23:00. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 11:30–23:00 with no midday break. Last order is 22:00 for food and 22:30 for drinks. We close irregularly.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Please book by phone (075-634-5010) or online. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your reservation time, your booking may be treated as cancelled.
What all-you-can-eat courses do you offer?
We offer all-you-can-eat courses of Japanese wagyu, kuroge wagyu, Kobe beef and premium Kobe beef. Vegetables, rice, noodles and desserts are also all-you-can-eat. A lunch-only all-you-can-eat course is available as well.
Do you serve lunch?
Yes, we open at 11:30. You can choose from lunch set meals, fixed-portion lunch sets and the lunch all-you-can-eat course.
How many people can you accommodate for a group or banquet?
We can accommodate anything from small groups up to 140 guests, and a private buyout of the restaurant is also possible. Banquet courses with 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink are available.
What is the typical budget?
Lunch is around ¥2,000–¥2,999 and dinner around ¥6,000–¥7,999 per person.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club and UnionPay) and QR code payments (PayPay and Alipay). Electronic money is not accepted.
How many seats do you have, and is smoking allowed?
We have 146 seats. Smoking areas are separated and a designated smoking room is available. Sofa seating is also available.
Can I come with children?
Families and children are very welcome, and you may bring a stroller into the restaurant.
Is there parking?
We do not have our own car park. As we are a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Station Hachijo-guchi, please use public transport or a nearby coin car park.
Do you have English or Chinese menus?
Yes, English and Chinese menus are available.
Is there Wi-Fi and are there power outlets?
Free Wi-Fi and power outlets are available, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
